Lily and Caroline first met at SMU’s orientation and then again in Italian class during freshman year, but despite sitting next to each other three days a week, they embarrassingly enough never really spoke until bid day at Chi O. From then on, they’ve been inseparable, bonding over a mutual appreciation for Harry Styles, sour candy and obsessively long walks. They even shared a king size bed for a whole summer junior year and still like each other! Lily is currently pursuing a masters degree in mental health counseling from Fordham University in NYC and works a slew of odd jobs, including a part-time sales associate role for Caroline’s favorite brand, Hill House Home, at the Rockefeller Plaza store.

Anna and Caroline met during their freshman year of college when they both rushed Chi O at SMU. They became fast friends and even lived together in the Chi O house during junior year and with birthdays just four days apart, celebrated their 21st birthdays together with a joint party. Whether you need a game day pal who will actually go to the game or a study buddy with an endless supply of highlighters, AB is your girl! Originally from Boulder, Colorado, hopefully she likes the mountains in North Carolina too. Anna works in global industry marketing for Bain & Company and recently moved to Chicago.

Taylor Hood

Taylor and Caroline were fatefully paired together when Caroline visited Ensworth for a prospective student visit, but it wasn’t until the following year when they really bonded as ~featured dancers~ (along with Sophie) in their school’s production of Anything Goes and during weekly visits to the Marble Slab, an ice cream shop where Taylor worked as a shift manager. Ever since, they’ve been tap dancing through life together (often literally) and have only gotten closer since high school. Taylor, a talented graphic designer, married her husband Jackson in a fabulous wedding in Mexico in November 2022. They just moved from Kansas City, Missouri to Albuquerque, New Mexico with their cats Taco and Chip (who likes to play fetch).

Fiona Painter

Fiona and Caroline don’t exactly recall the first moment they met, but they do know for sure when Larkin and Fiona met – SMU move-in, where they were next door neighbors in Ware Commons! Caroline met Fiona (and Larkin) shortly after and from theme parties and movie nights to spring break and rush, they spent freshman year side by side. Although their time together now looks more like early morning exercise classes or evenings watching Les Mis and Downton Abbey, their friendship is as strong as ever. Originally from Scotland, Fiona became an American citizen in 2019. She works for AT&T as a program manager and chief of staff for the digital care organization.

Sophie Scott

Sophie and Caroline also met at Ensworth High School when Sophie was a sophomore and Caroline a junior. Caroline made short work of weaseling her way into being best friends with both Sophie and Taylor during the production of Anything Goes and soon were spending many late nights at Donut Den and driving around in Sophie’s Mini Cooper. After high school, Sophie decided she couldn’t be away from Caroline any longer and followed in her footsteps to SMU, where she joined the pom squad and Chi O too. After college, Sophie moved to New York City, where she currently works as an assistant gallerist and designer at Eerdmans New York. She lives in a beautiful West Village apartment with her fiance Preston and their cavapoo Mellie.
