Getting to Linville

By Car

Linville is located in the heart of North Carolina’s High Country. For many of our guests arriving from South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia and other surrounding areas, driving might be the most convenient option. The drive is just under six hours from Nashville, five hours from Charleston, and four and a half hours from Atlanta.


By Plane

For our friends in Texas and beyond, flying is the friendlier option. American Airlines operates a direct flight from DFW International Airport to Tri-Cities Regional Airport. Once you arrive to TRI, Linville is a quick hour drive away. If TRI is not an option for you, we recommend flying to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and renting a car. Linville is roughly two hours away from CLT. If you are interested in a transportation service instead of renting a car, we recommend High Country Transportation.

WHERE TO STAY

The Eseeola Lodge

The Eseeola Lodge and Linville Golf Club will be the backdrop to our wedding celebrations all weekend long. Space is limited – the Lodge has 19 guest rooms and five suites, available to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ideal for those who wish to be as close as possible to the golf course!

Shuttle transportation to and from the Eseeola will be provided for the wedding.

The Pineola

Located just 3.5 miles away from the Eseeola, The Pineola has lodge, cabin, RV, and tent camping options starting at $130/night. We have secured a block of 20 lodge guest rooms (a variety of deluxe king, deluxe two queen and deluxe two double rooms) available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In order to book, guests must call Carolyn Johnson at 828-733-4979. Please note: there is another wedding in the area during the same weekend who also have guests staying at the Pineola. Any rooms not booked in our block before July 16 will be forfeited and could be booked by the other party. Book early!

Shuttle transportation to and from the Pineola will be provided for the wedding.

Linville Falls Lodge

Located just a 15 minute drive away from the Eseeola, Linville Falls Lodge has nine rooms and five cottages starting at $100/night. We have secured a block of five king rooms, three two queen rooms, a one bedroom cottage and two two-bedroom cottages. There is also a six bedroom house on property that can be booked through the website.

In order to book a room in our block, guests must call the front office at 828-765-2658. Please book by August 20 to guarantee space in the room block.

Shuttle transportation to and from Linville Falls Lodge will be provided for the wedding.

If you are having trouble booking a room at any of the hotels, please reach out! There are a variety of rental homes available through VRBO and Airbnb in the area which you are also welcome to explore. However, please note that if you are not staying on property at the Eseeola, Pineola or Linville Falls, we cannot guarantee wedding day shuttle service to and from the ceremony and reception and you may be responsible for your own transportation.
